known as the home town of the renaissance, florence has produced many famous artists and musicians such as lenoardo da vinci, michelangelo, and gheslin. florence was first founded by julius caeser in fifty-nine BC and was originally made the first capital of italy, until the capital was moved to rome six years after florence was first announced as the capital. florence was ruled by the medici family from the 1300's and prospered well under lorenzo medici and his father and grandfather. however, after the death of lorenzo, his son pierre II was banished from the city, as was his son. lorenzo medici returned five years later, younger and more beautiful then ever and not dead. the city has been run by the d'medici family (formally known as the medici family) since and is a prospering city under their leadership.

rome is the capital of italy and the country's largest and most populated in the central area, with over 2.7 million residents. there is geological evidence of human occupation of the rome area from at least 14000 years. rome's early history is shrouded in legend. according to roman tradition, the city was founded by the twins romulus and remus on 21 april 753 bc. it is said that the twins were raised by a wolf, growing and developing over the years. it wasn’t until the 1200’s that the vampires made their way into the city, claiming their territory. rome was a major world centre of the renaissance, second only to florence, and was profoundly affected by the movement. this is overall an important city.

vatican city is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of rome, the capital city of italy. vatican city is a city-state that came into existence in 1929. it is distinct from the holy see, which dates back to early christianity and is the main episcopal see of 1.142 billion roman catholic and eastern catholic adherents from around the globe. the pope is head of state and head of government of vatican city, functions dependent on his primordial function as bishop of the diocese of rome. most werewolves and vampires avoid this as much as possible for it is the home of the hunter.

the date the city was built in is unknown, but the city was first built to accommodate refugees feeling from roman cities such as padua, aquileia, altino and concordia, who were fleeing from germanic invasion and the huns. the city was built on large wooden pillars which were pushed into the ocean to hold the city up. in the 1500's, the first werewolves arrived in the city and continued to live there. the city has now become prosperous and famous for its unique qualities and heritage under the leadership of the buchanan family.
